The Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician Course ( RRT ) is a Must-Have class for fire or water damage restoration contractors. Learn how to properly remove wet carpet without destroying it and then reinstall it properly. Find out how to open seams that WILL go back together. Learn how to make the jigsaw pieces fit back in.

For Carpet Cleaners, RRT will give you the knowledge you need to increase your profits from your existing customers. You will be able to offer them more complete service when you can repair seams, get rid of bubbles, and buckles, make burns or pulled rows in berber look like they never existed, or repair metal strips while you`re there to clean their carpet.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to become certified as a Repair and Reinstallation Technician,

by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification ( IICRC )

Meet The Instructor

    • Seam Repair - Find out what laws of physics make a peaked seam...and how to work with them to flatten the seam.
    • Area Replacement - Cut out bad areas and set in "bonded inserts".
    • Strip and Metal Repair - What are all those shapes for, anyway?
  • Installation Problems - Was it cut wrong? Were the seams done right? What does overstretching look like?
